"Carved" is a font that I designed for a class that I took in print media. The Focus was set on creating something, that would work on a screen interface but also have a certain effect when printed. My goal was to create a 3 dimensional effect by using color overlay. Woodcarvings served me as an inspiration source for this project.
Through the right mixture and overlay of colors, I've created 4 different color compositions. To preserve the handmade, kind of rustic look of wood carvings I shapes the letters very asymmetric and with filled counters.
